Manifestation against Russian aggression in Ukraine appointed for November
Activist of the REP independent trade union Eduard Nelyubovich has sent the corresponding application to the City Executive Committee.
He would like to organize a mass event with banners and mottos in the main street of Homel – Soviet Street. People will walk from Lenin Square to Insurrection Square. 30 members of the REP trade union are planning to participate in the manifestation, the human rights website Viasna quotes Nelyubovich.
Members of the Communist Party usually organize their actions dated for the October Revolution anniversary in Lenin Square on November 7, the activist said. They do not ask the authorities for permission.
By the way, Homel officials did not allow any democratic and opposition actions (out of over 500) in the past 10 years.
