Belarus opposition activists rally in Minsk, urge Lukashenka to go

The opposition action titled the Outraged Belarusians' March 2.0 was organized by ex-presidential candidate and former political prisoner Mikola Statkevich. Several hundred people gathered in Kastrycnickaja Square in central Minsk and held a rally. The demonstration headed for Independence Square where it soon ended. Nobody was reportedly detained.
The activists urged Lukashenka to go, to cancel the freeloaders’ tax, to increase wages and release political prisoners. They also protested against hazing in the Belarusian army.
