Mihalevich asked to leave Vitsebsk city hall during meeting
A presidential candidate Ales Mihalevich was asked to leave the building of Vitsebsk Museum of Local Lore where he was conducting meeting with local activists on December 17. Before the meeting started, Mihalevich had explained to journalists that he was not going to conduct an agitation event in a huge hall in the regional centre because he thought it was “ineffective”. The candidate suggested that a dozen of Vitsebsk democratic activists and representative of mass media entered the city hall to talk in one of the museum halls.
Mihalevich bought tickets in the museum ticket office and everyone entered the exposition hall “Ancient Vitsebsk”. The politician presented his election program briefly.
The director of the museum Hleb Savitski asked everyone to leave the museum and promised to reimburse them for tickets 10 minutes later. Then Mihalevich asked his audience to continue the meeting near the city hall.
However, the head of the ideology department of Vitsebsk October District administration Ivan Matsveyeu approached Mihalevich and made the present to leave, informs BelaPAN.
