Ministry of Transport: Not enough money for road repairs
The head of the chief road department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications Yauhen Rakala has announced it.
“The population keep demanding better roads every year. People are developing; they visit other countries and see European roads there. Everyone wants such roads at home,” he said in the programme Contours on ONT on August 3.
The car tax will be used to pay for the construction and repairs of highways, BelaPAN quotes Rakala.
The representative of the Ministry of Transport was also asked about autobahns in Belarus. We are aspiring to them but Belarus is not ready for them yet, Rakala replied.
