Minsk authorities do not allow meeting in support of Ukraine
The BPF Party applied for a street action in support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence near the monument to Taras Shevchenko.
Officials explained their decision by the fact that…. ‘another event was being held at the intersection of Kisyalyou and Starvilenskaya Street in Stepanov Garden’. They did not specify what event it was, BelaPAN reports.
Members of the Young Front checked it yesterday: there were only policemen near the monument to Taras Shevchenko. By the way, it was BPF’s third statement to conduct an action of solidarity with the Ukrainian people in the Belarusian capital. However, Minsk authorities keep forbidding it.
