MP Kanapackaja reveals October salary - photo

United Civil Party MP Hanna Kanapackaja received BYN 1058.67 for not the full month of October. She published her pay cheque on Facebook.

Kanapackaja's salary, even not for the full month, amounted to slightly over $500 - the salary level that Aliaksandr Lukashenka yesterday ordered to return as an average wage of Belarusians.

Hanna Kanapackaja reflected on whether she received a lot or not, taking into account the average wage in Belarus in September 2016 - 345 euros. She also gave examples of MP salary in other countries: over 14 000 euros in Italy, 5600 euros in Russia from the next year, over 2000 euros in Ukraine, 1300 euros in Bulgaria.
