This year's Chernobyl Way rally to change route
The opposition forces decide to head the traditional manifestation to mark the anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy to Kurapaty memorial site.
The Chernobyl Way'2014 steering committee will meet on April 7. Its members decided to change the traditional itinerary used on April 26 – to the Chernobyl Chapel in Bangalore Square. The venue of gatheringwill not be changed: the cinema house October. The column is supposed to walk along Surhanau and Yakub Kolas Streets towards Kurapaty.
The applications will be sent to Minsk City and District Executive Committees on April 9. Maryna Homich, Illya Dabratvor, Anatol Sidarevich and Alyaksei Yanukevich are going to be the applicants, Radio Liberty reports.
Volunteers will take part in public work to clean up the memorial site after the manifestation ends in Kurapaty.
