ONT TV channel takes time paying $50 thousand for winning song

A composer Yauhen Milashka may not receive the $50 thousand promised by the ONT for the song that won in the programme “Musical Court”.
As ERB has found out, “Musical Court” is going to be converted into a regular show. In connection with it, its policy and cash awards have changed. The channel’s press secretary Tatstsyana Kurbat has informed about it.

Tatstsyana Kurbat: “We will choose the best song and the choice will depend on the number of “Musical Courts”. One will start in February; one more will probably take place in summer. The author of the winning song will get the promised money”.

The representative of the ONT has informed that the channel has not backtracked and the prize will be awarded. However, you cannot be sure that the winner will be Yauneh Malashka.

Let us remind you that “Musical Court” was supposed to chose a song that would take part in “Eurovision”. The ONT promised to pay an award of $50 thousand to the author of the winning song.
