Parting with Belarusian economist Andrei Tur in Minsk
The parting with Belarusian economist Andrei Tur will be organized in Minsk on June 2. The ex-deputy Minister of Economy (1995-2011), ex-deputy head of the Presidents’ Administration (2011-2013) and Doctor of Economics died of a severe disease in hospital at the age of 62 on May 31. He underwent an operation on his heart not long ago.
Tur was known for his liberal views on the economy. The parting will be organized at BNTU (building #11 B) at 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Andrei Tur worked at BNTU in the last years of his life. He was head of the department of business administration there.
The economist will be buried at the Eastern Cemetery in Minsk.
