The heavy storm came at approximately 1615 on Monday and lasted for only several minutes. Two women from Minsk were injured in Lenin street when doing construction works. They hid from the rain under the cover, but a strong wind pushed blocks on them. The women said their lives were spared thanks to the protective helmets. They received the first aid on the spot.

Many trees were taken down, blocking traffic in Brestskaja street.

Rescuersа worked at the scene to remove the fallen trees from the road.

The strong wind also felled fences and removed roofs from the houses and bus stops in the city.
