On May 9, Polish truckers started a protest at the border with Belarus. They announced that they would block the movement of trucks in Belarus through the customs terminal "Koroszczyn" (near the checkpoint "Kukuryki" - "Kazlovichy", the only place where trucks still pass). The action is allowed, it can last for a month.
The truckers are protesting against the seizure of the transport market by Belarusian and Russian companies with transportations to the East. The truckers demand a ban on the entry into Poland of trucks with Belarusian and Russian license plates, as well as the suspension of the work of Belarusian and Russian companies incorporated in Poland. They also push for the restoration of permits for transport companies from Ukraine.
