Poroshenko and Putin meet in Milan (photo)
European leaders are present at the meeting. The situation in Ukraine is the main topic on the agenda.
The multilateral negotiations started in Milan, Italy, on the morning of October 17, UNIAN reports. The Presidents of Ukraine and Russia are taking part in them. Europe is represented by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British PM David Cameron, French President François Hollande, Italian PM Matteo Renzi, President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy. EU's High Commissioner on foreign policy Federica Mogherini is also present there.
The Asia-Europe Meeting is being held in Milan now (on October 16 and 17).
