Radio-debates of presidential candidates start today at 5 p.m.
Pre-electoral radio debates will be broadcasted live today from 5 p.m. till 6 p.m. on the Belarusian radio. Some presidential candidates have decided to let their representatives debate on the radio instead of them. Thus, Aliaksandr Fiaduta will debate instead of Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, Anatol Liabedzka will substitute Jaraslau Ramanchuk, and Siarhej Martsaleu will debate instead of Mikalaj Statkevich, reports BelaPAN.
Ryhor Kastusyou, Ales Mikhalevich and Victar Tsiareshchanka will participate in the radio-debates personally. Vital Rymasheuski and Andrej Sannikau are on tour around regional cities so they won't take part in the debates. The current President Aliaksandr Likashenka refused to debate on the radio, as he refused to make a speech on TV and radio earlier.
