Ambulance involved in accident in Homel
The ambulance car collides with a BMW 318 and an Opel Astra when transporting a child to a hospital.
The incident happened on Monday night.
At about 9 p.m. the ambulance car was rushing along Savetskaya street in Homel with an alarm.
There were
a female paramedic, a nurse and a mother with a 1-year-old child in a serious
condition in the car. They were on the way to children's hospital .
In the city center, the driver went into the cross-roads on the red light and collided into a "Lada".
According to Kamsamolskaya Pravda, the car was thrown across the roadway after the crash so it ran into a "BMW 318" and "Opel Astra". After that the car drove onto the pavement and crashed into a tree.
The doctors were injured and got to the hospital. Ther driver and the boy's mother did not suffer. The child wasn't injured in the incident either.
