Police continue checking on "Femen's case"
They do not reveal precise terms of the checking, but it cannot last longer than a month, according to the legislation.
According to BelaPAN, the checking is being conducted upon the Belarusian police's initiative.
Let us remind you, three Femen activists Ina Shevchenko, Oksana Shachko and Alexandra Nemchinova conducted an action at the KGB's office threshold on December 19. They demanded to release the Belarusian political priosners. After that the girls disappeared. On December 20, they were found in Yelsk district, Homel region. The Ukrainians claimed that unknown people had kidnapped them and taken out of Minsk.
According to the girls, the plotters took them to the woods, where they threatened and humiliated them - forced to take their clothes off, poured their heads with "brilliant green", made them hold posters with fascist symbols. They also filmed everything.
Neither the activists nor the Ukrainian diplomats filed any complaints to the Belarusian police.
