Political prisoner Dashkevich transferred to Hlybokaye colony, troop #13
He used to be kept in a prison cell.
Zmitser Dashkevich's fiancee Nasta Palazhanka has informed Euroradio about his transfer. According to her, the political prisoner spent almost 1.5 years in a cell.
However, Palazhanka does not think that the transfer to colony is a positive change for Dashkevich:
Palazhanka: "It may be an attempt to create more difficulties and provocations. The more people, the easier is to manoeuvre if you want to complicate somebody's life. That is why we are very suspicious and anxious".
According to Palazhanka, Zmitser Dashkevich has a fever but he is not allowed to stay in bed:
Palazhanka: "He goes to work but he has not managed to explain what kind of work it is in his letters. Your temperature should be at least 38 degrees to be allowed to stay in bed. Zmitser's temperature is 37.9 degrees and he is unable to stay in bed to recover".
Let us remind you that Zmitser Dashkevich and Edward Lobau were detained in Minsk a day before the presidential election - on December 18, 2010. They were accused of hooliganism. Dashkevich was sentenced to two years of imprisonment. He was suggested writing a plea for mercy in September but he refused to do it.
