Russian MFA demands regular updates on Constitution drafts from Kiev
Russian foreign ministry doubts the ability of Ukraine's politicians to draft the Constitution taking all the interests of society into account.
Russian diplomats have demanded that VR members present ‘regular reports’ about their work, RBK reports. The materials must be published in Russian, the Russian MFA claimed commenting on the constitutional reform in Ukraine.
The Ministry doubts that Ukrainian MFA ‘will be able to prepare a project of the document taking all the Ukrainian society’ demands and interests into account on their own and that there will be no damage done to the interests of regional elites’.
The project of the new Constitution will be ready in two weeks, Ukrainian PM Arsen Yatsenyuk claimed earlier today.
