Winner of Belarus Press Photo 2015 announced
Maxim Sarychau has received the grand prix for his series 598 Stolen Days.
The contest Belarus Press Photo 2015 is over. Maxim Sarychau has received the grand prix for his series 598 Stolen Days dedicated to the activists preventively detained in the Belarusian capital before the Ice Hockey World Championship in 2014. This is the number of days the young people spent in jail.
Syarhei Balai has received the biggest number of awards this year. He ot 8 diplomas including the first places for a single photo, in the nomination News and in the category Traditions. See here for the whole list of awarded photo reporters.
