Zakharau: Belarusian hockey in for difficult times after world championship
Yunatstva Minsk chief manager Mikhail Zakharau predicts a bleak future for the Belarusian ice hockey.
Mikhail Zakharau told ONT in the talk-show Question of Principle:
"We do not have players like Hrabouski and the Kastsitsyns brothers in Belarus. We do not have them now. The [Belarusian] hockey will be in for the worst times ever after this championship. It is absolutely clear. You can start getting ready for it now.”
There are numerous problems that need to be solved in the Belarusian hockey, Mikhail Zakharau said. It will be possible to play at the championship ‘only using your own will and moral qualities’ but the tension will be extraordinary. But it will be followed by a downfall, Zakharov stressed.
