80 people released from jail under amnesty in Belarus
At least 80 people have walked out free from Belarusian prisons under the amnesty law which came into force on November 24, 2007. A total of over 3500 people will be released this year and in the first months of 2008. Prisons have already processed the cases of almost 140 citizens who can be released under amnesty, reports Belapan.
