Album Anima dedicated to Michael Cleophas Oginski released in Minsk
On September 25, on the birthday of Michal Cleophas Oginski Minsk hosted a presentation of the musical project Anima. It was dedicated to Homeland, it was initiated by the producer and director Andrei Isachanka and director Maksim Siry. According to the plan, the musicians were asked to write and perform once again the song, which would have been in tune with the word "homeland".
"Firstly, we wanted to get something, through which one could see what emotions, thoughts, and feelings this concept brings about in songwriters. Secondly, we wanted to show and tell about our excellent poets and composers who know how to write beautiful songs, once again bring attention to them and to bring the listener to the Belarusian music. We are very pleased and grateful to all the musicians who have responded," said Maksim Siry in a commentary to tuzin.fm
All songs were recorded in a minimalist fashion - to the piano by Maks Ivashyn and Mikhail Laskutou.
