Andrei Shorats appointed as new Minsk mayor
Former Housing and Utilities Minister Andrei Shorats replaces Mikalai Ladutska as the Mayor of Minsk among other appointments today by Lukashenka.
Belarus president Aliaksandr Lukashenka on November 6 made several appointments, reports BELTA.
The head of state appointed:
Vladimir Amarin Finance Minister of the Republic of Belarus;
Andrei Shorets Chairman of the Minsk City Council;
Yuri Senko Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus;
Natalia Eismont Spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The President also approved the appointment of:
Vadim Zaryankin as Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Office of the State Control Committee;
Oleg Sadovsky as Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Office of the State Control Committee;
Ivan Golovaty as Director General of OAO Belaruskali.
