Donets Basin subgroup fails to reach agreement
The two-day negotiations on the removal of heavy artillery have yielded no results.
The subgroup on the situation in Ukraine negotiated in Minsk on August 3 and 4. The security subgroup tried to reach an agreement on the removal of heavy artillery. However, the text of the agreement was not approved, ria.ru refers to a source close to the negotiations.
According to the source, the Ukrainian authorities do not want to withdraw artillery from four points and representatives of the self-declared ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ insist on a total removal of artillery along the delimitation line.
