Members of movement "For Freedom!" elect leaders of Brest regional branch
The assembly of the human rights educational association took place on July 30.
Members of the organization elected the regional council in the squad of 8 people, headed by Dzmitry Tretsiak, by a single vote.
"We are conducting an official re-structuring of the movement "For Freedom". We used to appoint regional coordinators ourselves before. Now, if we want to speak about democracy, we need to give our members in the regions an opportunity to elect their leaders by themselves", - Aliaksandr Milinkevich has told to Euroradio.
