Baumgertner shares cell with swindlers
Uralkali CEO is in a pre-trial detention center together with the suspects of swindling, office abuse and intentional bankruptcy.
According to the Russian newspaper Izvestiya, Uralkali CEO Vladislav Baumgertner is being held in the pre-trial detention center #5 'Vodnik' in Vyborgskaya Street in Moscow. Previously, the media reportyed that he had been delivered to 'Lefortovo' detention center.
Baumgertner's neighbours represent the so-called 'special contingent' - the people suspected of economic crimes. 5 people including Baumgertner are staying in the cell for 8 inmates.
Baumgertner's lawyers who visited him for the first time in the detention center say he feels good. They plan to ask for another restraint, for instance, house arrest, as in Belarus.
On November 22, the Uralkali CEO, delivered from Belarus to Moscow, was presented official charges of office abuse.
