Chernobyl Way-2015: application ready to be sent to Minsk authorities
The traditional action is appointed for April 26.
The application for the traditional manifestation Chernobyl Way-2015 will be sent to Minsk Executive Committee today. The street action will last for two hours – from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. People will gather near the Academy of Sciences and march towards Chernobyl Chapel in the Park of Peoples’ Friendship. The organizers have refused from the traditional meeting because it is too expensive for them, Euroradio reported earlier.
Senior deputy head of the Movement For Freedom Yuras Hubarevich, BPF Party leader Alyaksei Yanukevich, Vital Rymasheuski (steering committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party), Illya Dabratvor (Solidarity Movement Together) and Dzmitry Kuchuk from the Belarusian Party of the Greens are among the action organizers.
The organizers of this year’s Chernobyl Way will give a press conference in the BPF headquarters in Minsk at 12 p.m. today.
