The head of the Belarusian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Pavel uses a Range Rover with Russian number plates. Leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lybedzka has published the photo on Twitter. “He could have changed the number plates just to observe the properties,” the politician noted.
Metropolitan Pavel was appointed head of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and had to leave Ryazan on December 25, 2013. However, a foreigner cannot be the head of the Belarusian church. The metropolitan promised to become a Belarusian citizen and study Belarusian after a wave of criticism. No official information about it is available even 1.5 years since his appointment.
A Range Rover L405 is a luxury crossover. Experts compare it to expensive yachts. The car costs over $100 thousand.
