Moscow-Minsk oil negotiations slow down
Another round of negotiations on oil balance for 2013 with Russia at the governmental level did not happen.
The official Minsk planned
to hold it in the end of last week or in the beginning of this week, informs interfax.by
with a reference to an anonymous source. The Belarusian negotiators are
expecting that the dialogue with Moscow will be continued at the top state
level.
It has been informed that Russia refused from new negotiations at the
governmental level. The Russian officials insist on oil shipments suggested
during negotiations on November 19-20, - 18 million tons in 2013. Meanwhile,
Minsk counts on import of 23 million tons of Russian oil next year.
The leaders of Belarus and
Russia can meet on December 5 at the CIS summit in Ashkhabad, or on December 19
in Moscow, where there will be top level meetings in the framework of the CSTO,
the EurAsEs and the Customs Union.
