Public sector workers' income to grow 9% in 2017
Public sector employees in Belarus will see their income 9% up in 2017. The index is included in the budget of 2017, deputy head of the Economic Policy Commission Uladzislau Shchepau announced on ONT on the evening of September 18.
The structure of budget expenses will change in 2017, the MP noted. However, the main objects of financing will not change, he assured. The expenses for education and healthcare will increase, Shchepau said. State employee’s income will also be secured.
The financing of construction will be decreased next year, Shchepau noted. It will be a temporary measure, he believes.
