Three DPRK fighters who killed Russian soldiers are wanted in the Kursk region of Russia. The search has been going on for a week. The fugitives have not yet been apprehended.
A leaflet has been published and is being distributed in the units of the Russian army and police. It says that on January 13 in Bolshoye Soldatskoye, servicemen from North Korea "by prior conspiracy committed the murder of 5 servicemen of the 810th Marine Brigade and left the place of deployment of the unit". They are described as criminals who are "armed and dangerous".
The search is underway not only in the Kursk region, but also in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Orel regions.
The DPRK has sent 12 thousand of its military to Russia. In the fall of 2024, its units were sent to the Kursk region, part of which is still held by Ukrainian troops. A number of North Korean military personnel have already died and several have been captured.
