Maryia Kalesnikava has been staying for three weeks in the medical unit of the Homiel colony, reports the press service of Viktar Babaryka.
The colony administration said that the political prisoner was feeling well, and her appetite was good. She was allowed to receive food suitable for a faster recovery.
Maryia's lawyer was not allowed to see her last week. As was previously reported, her father was allowed to visit her in the colony on December 5.
According to Euroradio, in late November, Maryia Kalesnikava was hospitalized with peritonitis resulting from a perforated ulcer. After surgery, she spent several days in the intensive care unit. Then she was returned to the colony.
