Police waited for main suspect to sober up before interrogation
Senior deputy of the Minister of Internal Affairs Aleh Pyakarski has informed the ONT channel about it.
According to him, the man arrived at “October” station from “Frunze” station. The police cooperated with taxi-drivers in the district to find him. He and two other people lived in a rented flat near “Frunze” station. The place of residence was found out when one of the suspects was followed from a shop where he had bought alcohol. According to Pyakarski, the detention was organized according to the rules including bursting the door in. It happened on the night of April 13. The senior deputy Minister has noted that the suspect started giving evidence at about 5 a.m. because he had been sobering up.
Pyakarski has claimed that if the suspect had not been found by the morning of April 13, the police would have asked citizens for assistance, informs BelaPAN.
