BNTU students left without water
There is no hot water in Uruchcha micro-district, and no water at all in BNTU dormitories because of an accident.
On Monday, October 15, employees of the Pershamayski district communal services department received an alarm call: the water pipes were broken somewhere at their territory. Central heating and hot water disappeared.
Meanwhile, the student dormitories of the Belarusian National Technical University corpus #15 were left with no water at all. The dormitories administration reacted to the situation: tracks with cisterns "water" and "drinking water" appeared in the area on Tuesday morning.
The students pour the water in buckets, 5-liter bottles and soda plastic bottles. The queue ends only when they use all the water in the cisterns. Moreover, there are other repair works in progress, so the electricity might also be turned off as well in the dormitories on Wednesday.
