Lohvinau is given 2 more months to pay fine
The publisher has been given two more months to pay his Br 5.4 million fine and Br960 million of confiscated income.
Publisher Ihar Lohvinau has been allowed to pay the Br960 million fine two months later then he had to. Minsk Economic Court allowed it on March 16.
The entrepreneur has managed to collect $58 thousand out of the needed $64 thousand, he told BelaPAN. Lohvinau expects to get the full sum in two months.
Minsk Economic Court fined the printing house Lohvinau for 30 base amounts (Br5.4 million) and ordered to confiscate the annual income of Br960 million on January 9. The enterprise had to work without registration because the Ministry of Information had refused to register it many times.
About a thousand people from Belarus and other countries donated money to the printing house. A number of charity happenings were organized to help Lohvinau raise the money to pay the fine.
