MFA: No Belarusians on board crashed EgyptAir plane
There were no Belarusian citizens on board the missing EgyptAir plane, Belarusian MFA press sectary Dzmitry Mironchuk told BelaPAN referring to the data presented by EgyptAir.
The Airbus A320 (flight MS804) was heading for Cairo from Paris at night. It disappeared in the Greek air space over the Mediterranean Sea. There were 66 people on board (56 passengers and 10 crew members). The people were citizens of Egypt, Iraq, Great Britain, France and Saudi Arabia.
The airplane fell into the Mediterranean Sea, mass media report. This information has not been officially confirmed yet. The airplane’s automatic systems sent a distress signal, the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation reports.
