Minimum living wage to increase on May 1
It will reach $102 which is $3 more than before.
Minimum living wage will increase on May 1. The new amount will be valid until 31 July. This was reported by Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Maryianna Shchotkina.
In Belarus, the minimum living wage is used to calculate allowances, additional payments to pensions. Social and minimum labor pension will also be recalculated.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced the new size of the minimum living wage.
"On May 1, the average size of minimum living wage will be 1,474,870 rubles (the previous figure was 1,428,100 rubles per person - Euroradio), for the working population, the figure will grow to 1,627,600 rubles, for pensioners - 1,126,180; for students - 1,427,860; for children up to 3 years - 946,610 rubles, for children from 3 to 6 years - 1,322,490; for children from 6 to 18 years - 1,623,670 rubles," said the Ministry of Labour.
Сompared to the size of the previous wage, the new one increased by 3.2 dollars.
