Russian FSB confirms terror attack on A321, vows to punish culprits
The passenger plane A321 was destroyed by terrorists in Egypt, the Russian authorities admitted on November 17. A self-made blasting assembly equivalent to 1 kilogram of TNT went off on board the plane, FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov announced at a meeting with the Russian President. Experts have found traces of explosives on passengers’ luggage and parts of the airplane. It is certainly a terrorist act, RIA Novosti quotes Bortnikov.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has promise to find the terrorists who eliminated the Russian airplane ‘in any place on this planet’ and to punish them.
FSB is going to pay $50 million for information about the terrorists.
224 people including a Belarusian citizen died in the A321crash on October 31.
