BPF Party may leave Peoples’ Referendum
The organizations that founded the initiative have lost credit, BPF Party leader Alyaksei Yanukevich said.
The BPF Party may consider leaving the initiative People’s Referendum at one of the next meetings of the Seim, party leader Alyaksei Yanukevich told BelaPAN.
The four organizations that founded the Peoples’ Referendum have different approaches to the election campaigns and other things now, he said. “Evidently, the structures have different views on the methods and forms of efficient activity. Furthermore, the organization leaders’ personal trust to one another has been lost,” Yanukevich noted.
The fate of the People’s Referendum will be decided after the presidential election, the party leader thinks. The election is appointed for October 11.
The initiative People’s Referendum consists of the campaign Tell the Truth, BPF Party, movement For Freedom and the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Hramada).
