Business-manager of Executive Committee appointed new head of Minsk City Council

The first session of Minsk City Council of Deputies of the 26th convocation took place on May 12. The issue of appointment of a new head of the city council was discussed there. Mihail Savanovich was unanimously elected head of the Council.
He has occupied the position of the business manager of Minsk City Executive Committee for seven years. Mihail Savanovich is going to draw special attention to working with citizens in his new position.  

Savanovich: "You have to return to working with citizens thoroughly. I think it should be the same as in the Executive Committee. The head of the Executive Committee does not ask questions. Citizens should be accepted every Wednesday and Saturday according to the President’s decree”.

Let us note that the former head of Minsk City Council Mihail Matusevich did not even run for deputy at the recent elections.
