Minsk among safest cities in the world

Despite the political crisis, Minsk remains a relatively safe city / traveller-eu.ru
Minsk was ranked 83rd in the list of the safest cities in the world in 2025, according to the Global Residence Index.
The analytical service updated the rating based on such indicators as the Global Peace Index (GPI), the Numbeo safety index and other parameters that help to assess the level of safety in cities around the world.
The leader in 2025 was Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. Second was Andorra la Vella, the capital of Andorra, and third was Douglas, a city on the Isle of Man.
Minsk was ranked 83rd.
The capitals of neighboring countries are ranked as follows:
- Warsaw - 21st place
- Vilnius - 79th place
- Riga - 97th place
- Moscow - 114th place
- Kyiv - 115th place
