Russian man with large arsenal of ammunition detained in Minsk
On December 29 in Minsk, representatives of the anti-organized crime and corruption unit detained a Russian citizen with a large arsenal of cartridges of various calibers. 152 cartridges were seized at a residence place of the 49-year-old man, in the car park at the house.
The Russian man had a residence permit in Belarus but was unemployed. A criminal case was launched, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.
A criminal case was also filed against a pensioner from the village Zalesie of the Polatsk district. On December 2, the police found an unregistered small-caliber rifle and 7 rounds of 9 mm caliber at his place of residence.
