Zakhachenko: ‘DPR’ ready to grant membership to Ukraine

‘DPR’ is ready to grant membership to Ukraine, head of the so-called ‘Donetsk People’s Republic’ Alexander Zakharchenko announced. “The country needs to be reborn”, he told Russian mass media.
"Ukraine may join the DPR. We will welcome all sister republics – Kharkiv, Lviv, Odessa, Kiev and others,” Radio Liberty quotes Zakharchenko. Donets Basin is ‘the symbol of the rebirth of the state because the mottoes of fighting corruption and violence are being realized on its territory, he believes.
Zakharchenko called Donets Basin ‘a uniting force’ and expressed his confidence in its ability ‘to unite the republics and regions that would like to join the DPR’.
